​New York Avenue Main Replacement Phase I – Project Update​

The installation of 1,800 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron pipe was completed in November of 2024 along with all other below-ground improvements. Final paving work was delayed due to weather conditions and is now scheduled to be completed by May 31st, 2025. New asphalt paving will be installed on the full width of New York Avenue from north of Lemon Street to Orange Avenue, which will conclude the improvements for Phase I of the project. It is anticipated that construction for Phase II (Lemon Street to Monal Court) will begin in 2026.       ​
